Who runs UAFest.com
A platform for Ukrainian festivals and communities, built by the people who organize UAFest near Ottawa.
What a festival gets
A festival or community signs in with an email, names the festival and chooses which calls to open. The site at your-festival.uafest.com and its application forms go live in one step.
- A website with dates, place, program and application forms, in English and Ukrainian.
- Online applications for vendors, food, performers, volunteers and sponsors, each with a reference number.
- One team inbox with statuses and notes; the team gets a letter for each new application.
- Step-by-step playbooks for sponsors, vendors, volunteers and the day itself.
- Mentoring from UAFest organizers who have handled the same problems.
Where it comes from
UAFest began in spring 2023 as a garage sale in Carleton Place for Ukrainian families displaced by the war. The 2026 festival took place on 13 September 2026 in Riverside Park, Carleton Place, Ontario.
UAFest.com grew out of the website, CRM and checklists the Lanark County team used to run that festival. In the 2026 season the system took 390 applications from vendors, volunteers, artists, sponsors and guests and opened 253 personal cabinets for participants.
Who is behind it
UAFest is organized by the Ukrainian Community of Lanark County (UCLC), a not-for-profit corporation registered in Ontario under the Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 (Ontario Corporation Number 1000983432). The mentors listed on UAFest.com are UAFest organizers.
The software is developed and hosted by MMIX, the studio credited at the bottom of every page.
